About the Founder

My ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) training began by learning from multiple teachers and professionals in the public school setting. I wanted to work specifically in Autism classrooms as I had become increasingly interested in ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) and ABA.  In 2015 I took a job in a 5th grade ASD classroom in Cambridge, Massachusetts providing me the opportunity to work with an older population of students.

Seeking to expand my knowledge in the ASD field, I returned to Connecticut for a position as an in-home ABA Therapist in late 2016. My experience grew exponentially as I worked with a diverse population of families, children and amazing professionals in the field; ABA therapists, BCBA’s, OT’s, SLP’s, PT’s and Social Workers. Working alongside dedicated, intelligent and creative minded individuals and families inspired personal growth and expansion.

In 2019 I volunteered with the Global Autism Project to work with the Academy for Severe Handicaps and Autism (ASHA) in Bengaluru, India.  Here I participated in a new culture and educational system, broadening my experience in the Autism field.

In 2020 after much preparation I set off to bring Autism Impact to life. I continually work on improving and expanding as I believe this company has the potential to help many families. In 2021 I accepted a position as a part time nanny, offering an internal perspective of the intricacies with managing daily family life with a child with autism. This position taught me how to further expand my compassion and understanding which improves my communication and relatability to my clients at Autism Impact.

I am an avid seeker of knowledge; reading, reflecting, brainstorming and problem solving with the goal of growth in mind for myself, my families, and this company.
